Gerbils are a great pet. They are quite, loving pets that need don't need much attention. If your parents are out all day this is an ideal pet.

Unlike most animals there is only one breed of Gerbil even though they are different colours there are all one breed. The amount of food will be different. Its best just to give them a small bowl and then when it is empty to refill it.

Not everthing that Gerbils need is different though. For example they all need

- Food

- Water

- Space to excersice
