YEAR 9
Students in Key Stage 3 are following a dynamic and engaging ICT course. The programme of study encompasses the key concepts and processes published by the QCA National Curriculum 2008, providing differentiated learning opportunities for all pupils.
Year 9 pupils follow a scheme of work that prepares them for key stage 4 requirements; the delivery & presentation of the work is very similar to the specification they will follow in year 10 & 11. Pupils learn how to create a logo using graphics software, build an e-portfolio to present their work using web development software, develop an onscreen publication using multimedia packages, refine their spreadsheet expertise and write sequences of instructions using complex programming concepts to control human characters (on-screen animations).
