Students in Key Stage 3 are following a dynamic and engaging ICT course. The programme of study encompasses the key concepts and processes published by the QCA National Curriculum 2008, providing differentiated learning opportunities for all pupils.
Year 8 pupils work through a number of units. In the first unit, pupils prepare a printed leaflet; in the second unit pupils learn how to design and build an interactive web page; the third unit requires pupils to consider the usefulness, reliability and bias of the information they collect and use, and in the forth unit pupils are provided with the opportunity to develop further their expertise in the use of spreadsheets.
