To promote your band/ artist and the forthcoming tour your PR manager has asked you to create an onscreen publication!

The onscreen publication will be played at secondary schools so it must be good enough to grab and hold the attention of teenagers (particularly 11-16 year olds).

1. Create an onscreen publication to be displayed at schools to advertise the band & the forthcoming Star Struck tour.

  • Page 1 - Introduce the band (who are they, what type of music do they play)
  • Page 2 - Advertise a gig at a venue of your choice (research appropriate information to be included about the venue, e.g. location, capacity etc)
  • Page 3 - Advertise the Star Struck tour (you could include a map of Britain & demonstrate the tour stops)

You must make sure that your onscreen publication's pages stay on screen for a suitable length of time, add animations to enhance the visual appearance.

Ask your test buddy to evaluate your onscreen publication. They need to give you feedback & suggest any areas that need improving.

Annotate your onscreen publication and justify/ explain the design decisions you have made - in particular, how does it meet the needs of the target audience and why is it suitable for purpose.

Update your project plans & review your progress on this section.
