When creating my invitation on Microsoft Publisher, I had to consider my target audience, how they would receive it, and what it must include. To be effective, my invitation must include details of the event such as the time and date, include suitable images, and informs students what will happen when they submit their Danceometre. I used a wide variety of tools to create my publication so that it included more than one primary image, text boxes, auto fill, background colours etc. My invitation also includes auto shapes and word art. I created my invitation, then got my test buddy to give me some useful feedback, which I then used to improve my invitation.
