From our analysis we have identified the lack of atmosphere as the main drawback of watching tennis on the Television. Whilst it is good that interactive TV does give viewers more control and lets them have a more personal experience, it is not as good as watching a match because there is no atmosphere. For example, viewers in a lounge are not surrounded by crowds. Or, they can't feel the wind, or experience the weather conditions. Therefore, we have come up with ideas to try and solve these problems to make watching tennis at home more appealing:
Our favourite idea is having a hologram representation of the tennis courts and the crowds. This would make watching tennis on TV more like attending the match, but at a much cheaper cost (viewers would not have to pay for travel, or tickets or even refreshments when they got there).
